Membership 

Requirements for Active Brothers:

  • A Total of 25 Hours for the semester:

    • At least 15 of those hours must be Brother Hours

    • No more than 10 of those hours can be Non-Brother Hours

  • Attend 3 Fellowships

  • Complete 1 Leadership Credit (ex. completing an APO LEADS course, being a member of a committee, attending a LEAD at Oneonta event, running a service project)

  • Attendance at all Brother Meetings

  • Brothers who are taking a Little must meet with their Little 8 times throughout the pledging process

 

Requirements for Associate Members:

  • A Total of 10 Hours for the semester:

    • 5 of those hours must be Brother Hours

  • Attend 1 Fellowship

  • Associate Members can not get a Little

 

Brothers can apply to be Associate Members if they feel they do not have the time to complete all of the requirements of a normal Brother because of things such as work or a heavy course load.

Brothers can apply to be inactive if they are student teaching, interning, or studying abroad. Inactive Brothers who are returning to campus will be voted back into membership by current Brothers at the beginning of the following semester.
